Brett Croese

Brett Croese, photographer for the Abbey Medieval Festival

When Brett first picked up an old SLR camera, his trusty Minolta SLR-1, back in ’94, he’d never guess where it would lead him. The first photo he developed amazed him – that such a work of art could come from such a simple action. He quickly developed the craving for that perfect shot: the one that needs no editing, no glorifying, to stand out as THE shot. Nearly 20 years later, the technology has changed, but the desire has not.
The Abbey presents the perfect environment to chase that desire. His love of photography, combined with a love of all things medieval, makes the urge to find that one perfect shot all the stronger. Portraits, action shots, still life… one day, he’ll find it.  Click here for more details.
